Clovius has utilized REAL Studio® (formerly REALbasic, but still featuring the REALbasic programming language) since 2003, starting with version 4.5, for application development fulfilling contract and in-house requirements. This tool gives Clovius the ability to rapidly deploy executables, with rich graphical user interfaces, optimized for Mac OS and/or Windows by compiling a single REALbasic codebase for multiple operating systems.
REAL Studio is a modern, versatile object-oriented development environment for building cross-platform applications for Macintosh and Windows that has the power to design, test and ship software faster than other tools. REAL Studio compiles native machine code for Mac OS (both Intel x86 and IBM PowerPC) and Windows applications that utilize the proper user interface using native controls for each platform. With this programming tool, Clovius can develop applications that access the operating system's APIs and can reach out using internet protocols and select database server connectivity.
